Why did we decide to stock this book? (Besides the obvious reason that it’s cover has a beautiful rainbow)
Let me take you back to 2018.
In 2018 we read the book “The ways of the wolf” by @Smriti_Halls_author this book opened our eyes to the amazing lives of wolves, so much so that we decided if we were ever to own a pet it would be a wolf dog! But not only was this book super educational, we loved the incredible artwork by the talented @jonathan_woodward_studio. Jonathan is not only amazingly talented but he has an beautiful heart always sending us messages to cheer HT HQ on in times of darkness!
So, when I saw that Smriti had a new book coming out called, “Rain before Rainbows” we just KNEW it would be one we had to add to our collection and one we had to stock at HT.
“In the midst of rain, rainbows can be hard to see. But with courage and the help of good friends, there is always a way out of darkness.”
I know we have all experienced this at some point in our lives, when the going gets tough people seem to disappear. This is so true for so many especially for medically complex families. But thankfully true friends will always walk with you, hand in hand through those dark places!

Trust me, this uplifting book is a must have for your own collection and so beautifully illustrated by @david_c_litchfield too! Photos simply don’t do it justice. When I received copies of this book in my hand I couldn’t stop admiring its beauty. The flow of beautiful words and gorgeous illustrations on each page means our HT HQ copy sits visibly displayed at all times making it easy to grab to read and admire.
